Overall Satisfaction with SpyFu
We use SpyFu mainly to find PPC keywords and keep tapping on our competitors. Though it offers SEO analytics and reports too in our company, we use it to find profitable keywords on which others are bidding/winning. Then, utilize them in our SEO campaigns to build organic traffic. Just plugin in the domain name (whether yours or competitor's) and you are done. It is a very straightforward tool!

- It would be nice if they made the results region / country specific.
- Report PDF takeout is not consistent. Misses out data points often.
- PPC budgeting. Though we do it occasionally those data points are gold mines in making our strategy.
- Competitor Keyword Research for ongoing SEO camaigns.
- Search Position Rank Tracking.
- 3x to 5x ROI on our dollar investment because we deploy that data in long-term SEO campaigns.
- No negative impact on Time investment too since the their is no learning curve.
- Nice to Have tool in our arsenal of marketing.
SpyFu is more cost-effective than both (Ahrefs and Semrush), but we have to compromise on the data's accuracy. However, the data reporting and user interface of SpyFu make it easy to decipher. For Paid Ads keyword lookup, we prefer SpyFu to any other tool maybe, because it's more into sneaking into competitor's space.
