Square 9 Softworks - Great automation
Overall Satisfaction with Square 9 Softworks
We use Square 9 Softworks mainly for invoicing and approval. The ability to quickly scan in documents and do OCR on them to properly identify the fields on the scanned documents is a big time saver. We are looking forward to any improvements in the process but so far it's been great.

- Logging in via web or desktop is confusing and probably unnecessary (web works great)
- Setting up user permissions in proper groups could be easier
- Square 9 Softworks saves us 2-3 hours per day in data entry time
- Invoices are applied correctly to our ERP system with nearly 100% accuracy.
- Due to the automations with email notifications, invoice approvals are almost always done on time.
We measured the time it took our accounting team to enter the invoices the traditional way vs. with the Square 9 Softworks process. We then took the difference in time and multiplied it by the average hourly rate per employee doing that work. We also included the time it took for managers (approvers) to do their tasks via Square 9 Softworks vs. manual.
Although we have yet to use any of the AI features or even cloud storage, the AP process is so much easier to do than the old manual way. No more shuffling paperwork back and forth between departments. With the workflows the "paperwork" all goes electronically now and is much quicker to get complete.
