Pros

Designing good looking websites doesn't require a lot of technical experience.
The content types are rich.
Editing content is very simple.

Cons

The user management can feel clunky.
More advanced template options if desired.

Return on Investment

We saved man hours coding detailed pages to spin up a quick external landing page for a promotional event.
It hurt us because we couldn't connect to our CRM easily, so we couldn't personalize content.

Overall, Squarespace is a great platform. However, it's not a one-size-fits-all platform. Do some analysis first to determine if it will fit your long-term strategy. If you feel your business is growing to where you may outgrow it in 2-5 years, consider building a more in-depth solution now to save time in the long run.
