Overall Satisfaction with SurveyMonkey
We use SurveyMonkey for ad hoc internal surveys as well as exit interviews and company feedback.
Pros
- Customization. I can build my questions as I see fit.
- Logic Controls. I can utilize branching logic rather than tell the user to skip ahead to a number.
- Pagination. I can separate the survey into pages to eliminate a lot of scrolling.
Cons
- I don't have any beef with SurveyMonkey as it currently sits, simply because my use is limited to impromptu internal surveys and exit interviews, neither of which require much pizzazz.
- It has saved me time, which is my most valuable resource
- It has increased participation in company feedback also
I've only built my own in Access, SharePoint, and HTML. I don't like any of them. Plus, anything internal like SharePoint is going to have a network user/time stamp, and that wont increase participation at all.
