TeamViewer is an easy, light and useful app. It is used to support colleagues remotely with just a few clicks.
Pros
- Light standalone software.
- Also available for mobile devices.
- Free edition available in case of emergency.
Cons
- Free edition is unable to save daily connection.
- Could create a lighter free edition version.
- Web app version.
- Simplifies helpdesk role
- Always available on internet link
LogMeIn, but you need an more complex infrastructure. Dameware remote but you can't connect thru an internet connection
