Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer

We use TeamViewer to remotely support customers having issues with their computers. Our entire organization uses TeamViewer on a semi-regular basis. It allows us to access client computers with little hassle on the user's side.

Pros

  • TeamViewer quick support is an easy way to get clients connected.
  • We like that we are able to copy files back and forth easily.
  • We like that TeamViewer reconnects automatically.

Cons

  • I would like a TeamViewer server I could install locally to avoid having to use their servers.
  • I would like to have a call back function in the client.
  • It's enabled us to effectively manage more remote computers quickly, increasing our tech availablity
We had been using a combination of clients before, including Chrome Remote and regular RDP sessions. Using TeamViewer is better from the client's perspective since it's just a simple download and they stay in control the whole time.
TeamViewer works great as a remote support tool. Clients can easily get connected and get assistance. It's also great as a remote access tool if you need to access your computer from the road. The same can be said for remotely accessing servers when needed, just install the client and leave it running.
