Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
We use Teamviewer for our client audits. We give remote control to auditors to a limited access workstation that contains the read-only document to review. They cannot download the documents, only consult them for review using the workstation remotely. This allows them to review the documents and perform their audit without access to a local copy of the documents.
- Provide easy remote access to local computer.
- Easy to configure for secure access.
- Allow logging of remote access.
- Configuration is not always simple, should allow a quick configuration.
- Licensing model is not flexible and expensive.
- The newer version should be able to connect to an older version. The need to update is sometimes a pain when you need to get things done quickly, only to find out the version's mismatches.
- It allowed remote workers to get support without the need to put a VPN infrastructure in place.
- Allowed us to work remotely even if local computer was not very fast.
- It did save us from buying a document audit tool.
From the beginning.
- Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDCMan)
It's easier to get it to work. The user only has to download the client and give us its ID. We can then quickly connect to him and provide user support. This helped us to get our remote resources back to work faster and improved our ability to cut our support intervention time in half.
