My choice of tech support remote apps - TeamViewer.
Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
TeamViewer was used by the technical IT team to troubleshoot issues remotely across our interconnected global corporate networks. This product allowed the ease of use remotely, especially where it had to do not only with taking full control of users' devices but also my most loved feature, the remote reboot.
Pros
- It allow remote desktop assistance.
- It allows remote monitoring and collaboration with users in the form of remote tutoring using both audio and texting.
- It permits remote system control even allowing reboot and restoration of session.
Cons
- I am unsure about improving for simplicity, but I think there should be a better border to distinguish the active session windows in full-screen mode from the actual technical user's window. It gets confusing at times. The blue border is somewhat too thin.
- Negativity I would say it at time saves a company on unnecessary travels that the technical team members would like to take. Why waste time, money, and other resources when you could remotely resolve a problem 85% of the time?
- From a technical standpoint, TeamViewer has proven a little over 55% in ROI when I worked in a cosmopolitan global network. As we solidify into the 4IR, I hope to see how AI leaps revolutionizing its uses.
I was being provided support. I haven't used LogMeIn in the technical capacity of TeamViewer.
