Trello is a very useful project management tool, which allows our team to organize the tasks within our projects and work teams in a very quick and seamless way. With a very simple interface, it is able to give all the necessary tools for the administrative management of our tasks. Besides being used in projects and business structures, it also serves to organize your things in everyday life, with a system of Kanban methodology you can organize everything you want.
- One can easily assign tasks to team members.
- Very complete free version of a project management tool.
- You can store information in cards, like files and short format text.
- Assign priority to certain cards (easy for sorting).
- Difficult to work with multiple cards or tasks in the user interface, like for moving, copy/paste, etc.
- Allow tables as content for comment or description in cards.
- It's been an essential tool for our onboarding team. We wouldn't be able to operate without it.
- Improved greatly team communication, making work more efficient.
- Helped us to not forget about small outstanding tasks.
Really never used another of the alternatives mentioned, but from surveying others tools, Trello has many advantages, and its greatest strength versus other project management tools is its simplicity and ease-of-use. You don't need any type of training or previous set up. You can literally start using it within seconds after setting up an account.
