Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

Cision Communications Cloud (Trendkite)* is currently being used by our Public Relations department. Reports are shared throughout the Marketing department and senior leadership team. It's helping us get better at communicating the ROI of PR.

  • Cision Communications Cloud is greatly customizable.
  • Cision Communications Cloud easily creates beautiful reports that are interactive and can be shared easily.
  • Cision Communications Cloud was designed with public relations in mind. MODERN day public relations. This tool allows public relations professionals to report on the metrics that really matter and across all platforms and media mediums.
  • Access to Print coverage would really round out the service.
  • Ability to add multiple new pieces of online coverage at once. Currently, adding coverage takes a long time.
  • Ability to copy dashboards across to multiple team members with different logins.
  • Ability to create reports with elements from different dashboards (rather than sending multiple reports).
Cision is an incredibly strong competitor because it allows the user to customize their reporting in a way that works for them. They also understand the need of PR professionals today, and don't rely on a small number of updates that don't make sense in the outdated context of their platform as a whole. They have built a piece of software from the ground up with modern PR in mind, and though there are many improvements to be desired, like all platforms, they are a solution that we believe will soon be the leader in the industry.
Cision is particularly strong at reporting. The software is particularly strong for teams that are looking for the ability to really customize the type of reports that they are looking for. The customer service and the entire company have been an incredible joy to work with, and this makes them an even stronger force in the PR world.

Transition from TrendKite to Cision Communications Cloud

The customer service at Cision is a step above the rest. They sell and offer service with the integrity of a company who knows they are doing something right and don't have to manipulate to sell.
Their team is human, likeable, responsive and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure that we're happy and helped.

Using Cision Communications Cloud

Very simple and beautiful interface. The only drawbacks are the slower speed for some functions like adding new coverage into the software, and editing searches.
