Cision Communications Cloud Makes PR Value Easy to See
Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud
At IFT we utilize Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* in the media relations department to track when our company is mentioned in the media along with our brands, and spokespeople. We also use Cision to generate monthly and quarterly reports to show our vice presidents and CEO when and how IFT is being mentioned in the news and the impact we are having on the organization by pitching media and getting results.

Pros
- Interactive reports are great. Senior members of the team get a high level report of what is happening with IFT in the media and then are also able to click on specific slides to see more in depth results.
- Cision's customer service is phenomenal. Our contact, Ashely Wallace is always super fast to respond and help us with anything we need.
- The results are tailored to our company and we are also able to track how our brands are mentioned in the media.
Cons
- The database is newer so some websites are currently not crawled to monitor for results unless we specifically have them added.
- We'd love to be able to monitor our print media hits.
- More specifics via social media.
- Cision PR Software
Cision (before adding TrendKite) often picked up duplicates when a hit is republished and that was quite annoying. Cision Communications Cloud (now with TrendKite) filters out these duplicate hits and gives us a much more accurate reading to our PR value. Cision Communications Cloud also allows us to present our PR results in an easy to understand way with their reports. Cision Communications Cloud does sometimes not pick up hits at small niche trade outlets, but we are able to add them easily.
