Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* is being used by our communications department to satisfy our media reporting needs. We share the information with the executive team to prove progress.

  • Cision's data does a great job translating PR efforts into media value, data that tends to be a bit more nebulous than other departments' reporting needs in our company.
  • Cision has committed to closely monitor our needs and have acted quickly in times of emergency. Their commitment to customer service is unmatched by competitors.
  • As they continue to grow as a company, they've used their own clients as a focus group in how to improve and expand upon the things their product already does well.
  • Cision is in the process of creating this, but we have a need for standardized weekly reports to send to executive team members and unfortunately the current automated reporting isn't as thorough as we need.
  • My company generates a lot more media during certain times of the year than others, but we still generate more media than other Cision clients so I don't think their product is entirely equipped to monitor massive media hits.
Meltwater was just slow and not at all prepared for the volume of reports we needed to generate for our coverage. The customer service wasn't as friendly and was perceived as pushy when "sales time" came around, but the rest of the year they were generally non-responsive. Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite) just seems to be a bit more PR-focused and this meets our needs.
Cision Communications Cloud is definitely well suited for PR. It easily translates the values into tangible data that can be delivered to leaders or stakeholders in an easy way.

Transition from TrendKite to Cision Communications Cloud

They're quickly responsive when I reach out via their chat function, and any feature that I've requested but maybe they don't currently offer has been added to a request list for future features.

Using Cision Communications Cloud

It's easy to understand for someone who spends a lot of time on the Internet, say someone who may be a millennial. Unfortunately the older users on my team tend to have a bit more difficulty understanding its simplicity.
