Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud

We leverage Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* to provide a deeper analysis of media coverage for our agency clients this includes monthly, quarterly and annual coverage reports, daily alerts, etc. We find the most value when we have key competitors and key messages tracked to provide actionable insight. Plus the ability to tie in Google Analytics to see what coverage is driving traffic has been enlightening.

  • Prove value of PR in driving awareness
  • Share of voice analysis
  • Keyword, key message penetration
  • Always improving and adding new functions
  • Even filtering out press releases, you'll get some slipping through
  • Better way to track "organic" coverage generated from the agency's PR efforts vs. other coverage
  • Organize the dashboards better, if you have a lot of reports or clients, it can be hard to tell what's what
  • Meltwater
We left Meltwater for various reasons including aggressive sales teams and a lackluster product. Cision (Trendkite) was 100% transparent, helped address any questions or concerns I had and worked with us as we evaluated the product. One of the best decisions we made and I don't regret it one bit (still getting chased by Meltwater to this date and don't plan on going back).
Well suited if ...
  • You have large volumes of coverage
  • Have clear competitors to track
  • Want better insight into SOV
  • Want better insight into key message penetration
  • Need better reporting and charts
Not well suited if...
  • Google alerts are good enough
  • Don't have budget for measurement
  • You have a very common name (thankfully we aren't tracking Apple or Tide or other major brands with common names!)

Responsive team. I actually have an account rep to work with me that knows our agency and clients -- you really can't ask more than that. They want you to be awesome and it shows. The chat feature is incredible and typically can solve 95% of any issues or questions you have in just a few minutes

Using Cision Communications Cloud

Its pretty simple and if we have trouble, the chat function is super helpful. Quick responses, great customer service and visually, a great UI makes for a better UX.
