Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
TriNet is used by our USA operation to manage payroll and benefits. We are a small team, and I didn't want to hire a Human Resource person to manage same, so after careful consideration of many options, TriNet clearly stood apart from the competitive crowd!
- First, accessibility is a hot-button for me. If/when we need support, I want to know that a resource is always available and responsive, and TriNet nails it!
- Second, options is another hot-button for me. I want the team, myself included, to have options when it comes to benefit choices. We are a small company, and a small team. I don't want the team to be concerned about benefit choices, which can reduce morale. TriNet's wide breadth of benefit choices is a clear differentiator for me.
- Finally, thirdly, ease-of-use is another strong consideration when choosing our HR partner provider. TriNet makes it super easy to manage payroll, and manage benefits, without a lot of "touch-points". The tools on their website are intuitive, and if I have a question, I know I'll talk to someone quickly with an answer.
- There is room for improvement with regards to TriNet's open enrollment process. We ran into a situation where an employee made a benefit selection mistake. TriNet does a great job of constant reminders about open enrollment status, and next steps, but lacking was a review process of everyone's benefit selections prior to the firm deadline. I strongly suggest a benefit selection summary be shared with the group administrators well before the open enrollment deadline in order to avoid costly mistakes. The appeal process worked as it should, despite my disappointment in the result of same.
- I would like to see user input with regards to the subject of reporting. If we could run our own queries via pull-down menus, that would be incredibly useful. Why? Because there are times when what I need is unavailable as a "canned report" from the list of choices, and I'd rather not have to extract what I need when I would prefer to build a query of my own.
- The decision to partner with TriNet was purely a Return on Investment decision. The choice was to find a part-time HR person to manage payroll and benefits, or outsource entirely. I wanted to prioritize our own resources on customer-facing activities, versus managing the business. We would never have achieved the benefits of economies-of-scale we realize via TriNet by hiring our own HR resource. Managing our payroll and benefits via TriNet is a matter of minutes per week of time, and a fee structure that would never compare to the expense of increased direct head-count. I'm taking better care of my team, and the balance sheet, by partnering with TriNet. Period!
- ADP eTime, ADP Resource and Paychex Flex
TriNet stood apart from the competitive crowd from the first point of contact! As I've said before, we are a small company, with a small team, and not one time did I feel "small"! ADP wouldn't even entertain a dialog with us. Paychex was more than 2x the overall cost, with many fewer options. TriNet was the clear choice! I would choose TriNet again, every time, and I recommend you do the same!
