Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
TriNet is being used primarily for payroll and track vacation and sick days. We have all of the employees entered into TriNet and they have their own logins so they can manage their earnings statements and enter their vacation and sick days to be approved by their supervisor. This is being used by the whole business. Using TriNet helps keep all of our HR expenses (Insurance, payroll, COBRA, etc) all into one invoice. Previously we were paying about 3 different companies to manage all of this at different times.
Pros
- TriNet has very knowledgeable employees who can understand and help out with insurance questions. We currently have 2 employees on short term/long term disability and they have really helped us through this process and I have learned so much.
- TriNet also works with us on our payroll twice a month. I feel like we always have something special going on with our payroll and they help us with letting us audit our payroll before it is submitted.
- TriNet has definitely solved our problem with having all of our expenses into one invoice. Previously we had only been using a payroll provider and using benefits/insurance through a different provider.
Cons
- Sometimes it is hard to reach our representative and it feels like they have a lot of companies they are dealing with.
- We love the reports in TriNet but do wish I were able to see a report with every employee and the benefits they are enrolled in
- The cost per person is a little too much. We have looked at all other's and notice that TriNet's cost is more than other's.
- TriNet has made a positive impact because it has reduced the time HR has spent on the administrative tasks and we can focus more on the finance side.
- TriNet has helped us with all of our HR needs and helped us through a big layoff in 2016. They made sure that we were compliant and the process was smooth
We have not tried any TriNet products. Maybe in the future we can look into setting up and using these products.
