Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

Great service but not always available
Reporting has a bad interface
We use Trinet to process our payroll and manage our employee benefits and 401K.

Pros

  • Very easy to onboard employees, from the company side and employee side. It's all automated and straightforward.
  • Trinet is great at keeping us on top of new employment laws and reporting requirements.
  • Our dedicated human capital adviser helps us with complex terminations as well as decisions around company policies like PTO and parental leave.

Cons

  • Their reporting is not so friendly.
  • The dedicated support rep is not available outside of normal business hours - no response to email or by phone. There is an emergency number but even that does not provide 24-hour coverage.
  • Compliance
Well suited for small companies or companies with remote employees
