Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use TriNet for our entire organization. It solves the issue of multi-state payroll and taxes, and provides excellent reports for accounting purposes.
  • We have a dedicated Rep, who is very responsive to our requests and questions.
  • Since about half of our associates work from home in other states, TriNet has an entire team that handles those payroll taxes for all of the States.
  • The savings that we experience with TriNet's buying power for our benefits is unbeatable.
  • We would love to see them expand some of the reporting features.
  • We wish the fees for unplanned transactions was not so high. It's not always possible to have everything in the system by a deadline, and we get hit with fees for anything that's not scheduled.
  • We wish we had more input as to our open enrollment date. We do not get to choose this.
I bumped it from a 10 to a 9, only because when our dedicated rep is out, the service is sometimes less than perfect.
The phone system seems to get clogged and doesn't transfer our call to someone else that can help us.
I have no problem with operating the system, but I have found a couple of situations in which it took more than simple logic to get to a change that I wanted to make.
  • It has helped us to obtain and pay remote employees without the need to hire extensive HR personnel.
With the combination of big-company benefits, and administration of multi-state payroll and taxes, Trinet's reputation stood above the others we considered.
I feel it's best suited for medium-sized companies like ours. Any company that doesn't want the expense of an entire HR department, but has complex needs, would be well suited for TriNet services.
