Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

TriNet is used by the entire organization. It houses our payroll.
  • The website is fantastic
  • The mobile app is great
  • The customer service that I receive through Neisha is fantastic
  • The reporting features leave a lot to be desired. I should be able to customize a report and save it so that I run the same report monthly.
  • There should be more help on taxes for employees. I had one employee who just became a citizen. We updated her I-9. But, we later learned that she needed to fill in a separate form to begin having social security tax come out of her paychecks. That should be an automatic thing, or the TriNet payroll team should have proactively reached out to her to initiate whatever their process is.
I only deal with Neisha, and she is great. She's provided me with excellent customer service throughout my 10 months in this position.
Overall I think the website is fantastic. Occasionally I have a hard time finding certain things (i.e. most recently I was trying to find out if an employee's check had been mailed or was direct deposited). But that could be due to the fact that I'm still relatively new.

The reporting features need to be improved.
  • TriNet definitely reduces the time I (HR) have spent on administrative tasks.
  • Management of our benefit plans is wonderful.
  • Staying within HR compliance is great as well.
I don't like that it's out of state - and our medical plans don't receive some of the perks that Maryland plans receive (i.e. birth control is free in the state of maryland).
