Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
We are a small company and we manage payroll and human resources matters through Trinet. They manage onboarding and terminating employees as well.
- Automatic salary payments to employees and employment-related fees and taxes make it really easy for us.
- Makes it easy to not have to deal with paperwork relating to employees and to be compliant with laws.
- Connecting with a representative is quite easy.
- One area that I wish Trinet was better is in the employee termination processing time. I am not able to give a final check to the employee I am terminating the same day of termination. This is particularly painful because we terminate employees when they have already caused damage to our company, and having to run the pay-period for almost one more week because of the processing time is painful for the budget of a small company. In addition, on the day of termination, it does not show the accurate amount that is due to the employee. This should be quite simple because all information is known, and I am not sure why time is required to calculate the exact amount. One employee demanded an additional check for vacation time that was inaccurately showing in Trinet even though the date of termination was known. The actual payment was different from what Trinet showed at the time when termination was input into the system.
