Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

Trinet serves as Global Viral's third-party HR and payroll provider. We are a small non-profit and using Trinet reduces staff costs related to having an HR manager. Trinet is being used throughout our organization.
  • Very responsive and knowledgeable account reps. I always get the help I need when I call either from my rep or if she not available someone else always helps me.
  • Streamlined portal. Very easy to navigate and use.
  • Excellent communication, I get regular updates and emails informing me of any changes in state, federal, tax, etc. Reminders are sent if I forget to follow-up.
  • Better integration with our time accounting system. We have to use two systems, which don't speak to each other. Sometimes (human) errors are made with tracking PTO accruals.
We have been very happy with both the Trinet team and the technology platform.
There were some glitches when switching from the Beta platform but in recent months the usability has vastly improved. And again, if there is something I don't understand in the portal, help is just a phone call away.
  • As we are a small non-profit we want to stay lean with limited overhead. Trinet provides us the support we need without having to hire additional staff.
I inherited Trinet, so I don't have a comparison but I would recommend Trinet to other organizations.
Trinet would work well with both smaller and larger organizations. It really serves to streamline HR functionality. Trinet is especially useful for our organization because we have employees in a number of states. Trinet sets up all the employee and organizational registrations and handles the issues pertaining to each particular state. They provide any state-specific tax needs to the employee and guide us in the state-specific requirements.
