Product Evaluation

Meltwater Media Intelligence Platform

We did not really look at other platforms outside of word of mouth and TrustRadius.

We needed the product to track and monitor media relations. Looking for sources on what kind of platform was for us, we needed to know what others were using and what they thought of it. This is due to the high upfront cost associated with media listening platforms: the more information, the merrier.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Easy to navigate.
Easy to find the platform I need to know more about.

Cons

I do not know if a company created the surveys.
I do not know if people are being compensated to fill out the platform surveys.

It was easy to navigate, professional, and a great resource library—no guff, just what I needed.

Decision Factors

There were only two serious platforms that we were considering. Meltwater was one of them, and using TrustRadius helped us make the decision to use it much easier.

Likelihood to Recommend

It is one of the better services and platforms I have come across. It is easy to navigate and offers a large library of organizations and platforms that everyone uses. I have yet to come across a time where the platform I needed more information about was not on TrustRadius.
