Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro
I am an HR Director, and I use UKG Pro every day. UKG Pro is our HRIS system of record for nearly 625 employees. In addition, we utilize the UKG Pro recruiting and onboarding. UKG Pro gives me the ability to drill down into the organization and create helpful reports for measuring turnover, retention, etc.
- Security is very good at keeping the date hard to access if you do not have proper authentication to access it.
- Relatively easy to run organizational reports ad hoc or scheduled.
- Can combine various functions together, time keeping, recruiting, etc.
- The reporting is robust but can be frustrating at times when just trying to get an ad hoc report created quickly.
- Navigation is a bit clunky, reminds me of older ERP systems at times
- It has made the benefits of the open enrollment process much more efficient and has zero missed open enrollments.
- Helped zero in on turnover and retention metrics that needed to be addressed. Saw a nearly 90% decrease in agency staffing.
- Enabled 100% compliance with ACA regulations.
The benefits of open enrollment being centralized enabled us to manage this process to minimize employee steps and make the process seamless from year to year. Having recruiting and onboarding within the same system dramatically reduced the time (40%) it took to onboard new hires.
Having fewer integrations with outside systems, such as an applicant tracking system, a background check, etc., made the hiring and onboarding process much less manual and reduced the time to get the new hire or transfer ready to contribute or to at least get started on a training protocol. This made the field managers much happier and reduced the pressure of having to do last-minute tasks.
UKG stacks up very well. The functionality covers just about all of the essential functions that are needed to operate a large organization that is constantly bringing in new talent and moving people around to other divisions or positions. The reporting is strong, and the customer support is just as good, if not better.
