Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro

We use UKG Pro for HR and Payroll services. We also use WFM for scheduling and timekeeping.

Feedback on Mosaic implementation - not UKG issue - but please look at this partner. THey caused us a lot of stress and were not the best partners.

Pros

  • Easy to navigate EE profiles
  • Easy to review pay statements
  • BI sample reports and core reports

Cons

  • University training is too high level
  • Life event set up is easy to use, but limited for EE experience
  • BI reports creation - hard to find fields needed with references to various packages needed
  • 3rd party implementation partner - not representing you well (Mosaic)
  • Helps EE self service with updating contacts and EE demo data
  • view of pay statement
Work life balance was non existent during implementation. Too much reliance on the client who is not a SME of the system, we don't know what we don't know. My role, I was over 200% committed with UKG work and regular, and it was not sustainable.
Utilization is required, but not pleasant all the time, compared to last product before UKG (ADP)
ADP is more attractive and helpful to EE experience. For example, life event, benefit enrollments, etc. Secondary job rate being on pay statement is crucial and doesn't exist in UKG. Advanced reporting in ADP is a better experience for custom reports.

Basic EE profile data and review. Easy to navigate. I don't like how there is a different workaround process for creating a COBRA event per dependent only, when not an event for the EE in order to get the data sent on the feed. Importing using file upload (once mapping is sent) is very easy and nice to use including with the validation feature. It is very difficult when deductions are set up with calculation or expression, and the EE cant see their amount until "last" once it is processed through payroll. THey don't know the cost of what benefit when signing up for it.
