Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro

As a nonprofit, we use multiple systems that do not speak to each other, which creates redundancies in our processes. This also creates concerns regarding data integrity, as the risk of human error transferring from one system to another is high. With UKG we have all of our processes within one system, creating a synergistic experience, less duplication of efforts, and a user friendly experience on the front end and back.

Pros

  • Onboarding employees from ATS to Core, creating a seamless experience
  • Front end experience easy for employees to navigate
  • Options to customize

Cons

  • Implementation was choppy and module leaders did not speak to each other on project timelines or progress. Felt rushed.
  • BI function can be complicated to navigate. Not much training provided.
  • Lack of support regarding rollouts (toolkits)
  • Increased engagement
  • Reduced HR administrative time. More time for strategic items
  • Reduced payroll processing from a multiday task to less than a day
Recruiting, Performance Management, payroll, benefit administration/open enrollment, compensation, onboarding.

We now trust he Data coming in from the beginning, no need to copy into another system.
During tax season, we would need to personally update all employee addresses prior to W2s being sent out. With UKG, we were able to move that from HR manually doing this to handing the power back to the employee to own the process and update as needed. This is not specifically quantifiable, but it did reduce stress and increased productivity of the team now that they do not need to manually update employees personal information
It is very easy to use and navigate
Not an HR module, but an entire suite of offerings. We chose UKG due to the customizing that could happen, in addition to the opportunity to move forward in technology with a trusted organization.
