Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)

UKG is used across our hospitals and clinics in all aspects of HR and payroll. We are also users of Kronos so we have the "whole" package of UKG. We are so happy with the Reports from UKG. We can build to suit our own needs and/or use pre-made reports. This year we intend to streamline some of our processes with the help of UKG support.
  • Reports are excellent!
  • Payroll processing is easy to follow with the Gateway!
  • Love the idea of UltiPro and Kronos being "married."
  • We are not big fans of the new UKG Pro Kronos cloud based dimensions!
  • Lots of functionality and usage problems with dimensions!
  • Once the combined UltiPro & Kronos marriage is complete, this will be a huge plus for everything in one company!
  • The ease with building reports has given us much more ability to breakdown some of the costs to each of our facilities.
I feel that both UltiPro & Kronos are the BEST of both HR/PR system and a Timekeeping system! We just got lucky and the 2 of these "married" each other!
UltiPro is still fairly fast but Kronos lags very badly since moving to the cloud with dimensions!
Usually very quick to respond for UltiPro side but still having some issues on the Kronos dimensions side.
While processing a payroll we ran into the system not loading our payroll. We had to call the "Rapid Response" in order to get our payroll finalized the day so our employees had their money in their accounts as expected.
I am a diehard proponent of UKG. I have worked in UltiPro for more than 15 years in total and have been using Kronos for over 12 of those years. Having the 2 companies combine and become one should help us resolve some major issues we have with wage and/or job changes that often occur in the middle of our pay periods.
