Overall Satisfaction with UKG Ready

We utilize UKG Ready as our workforce management solution. It is our system of record for all employee information, including payroll, benefits, compensation, document storage, onboarding, time and attendance, etc. We have 17 locations in 4 states, so managing this data from a central location is critical.

Pros

  • Product enhancements.
  • Payroll processing.
  • Mobile app for frontline workers
  • Ease of use (dashboards) for leaders

Cons

  • Increased enhancements to Advanced Scheduler.
  • Texting capabilities are limited.
  • Some reports still do not contain fields that would be useful.
  • We were able to eliminate physical time clocks, saving $10k annually per location.
  • We eliminated paper processes for time card adjustments, saving hassle for employees and managers and increasing payroll accuracy.
No system is perfect, but UKG Ready is easy to understand and navigate. If my team had more bandwidth in HR to support utilizing all of the features of the system, I may have rated even higher.
We are discovering that many integrations can be handled by creating our own SFTP files without the assistance of an external vendor. We didn't know this previously, which could have saved us some money in support fees. Additionally, some of the external vendor partners we've used have not been as great, but the backlog and expense of working directly with UKG's support team can be limiting.
We recently acquired two new locations, which can be quite stressful for incoming employees and the team that is supporting the transition. Using our UKG Ready tools made the transition virtually seamless, and the new team members felt well cared for. Plus, they all had correct paychecks when they came on board, which was critical for them to build trust in our organization.
UKG Ready is truly the full package. While many systems excel at one functional area of HR, Ready delivers across lines of service.

I have been very pleased with the responsiveness of technical support and the treatment that we receive from all of our UKG contacts. UKG meets all of our business needs in a decentralized, multistate organization. We plan to continue moving additional functionality to UKG to minimize additional platforms and enhance the associate experience.
