Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

We currently use the Core HR product across the organization for HR management, payroll processing and reporting. After six months we added the time and attendance module and after one year we added Recruiting and Onboarding. We are currently contemplating adding the Compensation module. Each implementation was well planned and customer support is excellent. With Ultipro we have been able to provide a full employee self service solution and have been expanding the manager self service features. We were able to streamline many manual processes that we had in the past.
  • They offer a robust security setup that is easy to maintain
  • They provide customers with a full portal of user guides, videos and web based training for all aspects of their platform-along with immediate assistance by phone or chat
  • Business Intelligence reporting capabilities are fantastic
  • I wish the time and attendance module was more admin user friendly or there was more training available -in order to learn how to configure on our own without having to create a service request
  • It would be nice if the withholdings could be directly sent to CRA or withdrawn form a customer account in order to speed up processing-currently we receive a payment services invoice and then pay the invoice

We have certainly had time savings moving from manual recruiting and time keeping to an automated process.
The online presence and access anywhere is a key feature with Ultipro. They have also launched a mobile phone app.

Upgrading UltiPro

Yes - We recently added the compensation module in order to process merit increases and annual bonus payments.

Using UltiPro

2 - Our payroll team managed Ultipro core and UTA. For end users the product is intuitive and very much like any other web based platform. It is easy to navigate even though we do provide internal job aids for some specific tasks that we expect employees to manage on their own. You do not need to be a technical genius to manage Ultipro but if you are skilled the product is able to support that as well (specifically BI reporting).

While we have had our share of hiccups with the product we are happy with the service provided. We also enjoy the many updates that come as a result of customer feedback - not many companies listen to customers and spend as much time reinvesting in the product offering.
