Overall Satisfaction with Vena Solutions
When we first started exploring Vena, our initial goals were related to financial reporting and data access. Added FP&A. Vena addressed the difficulty the organization was having accessing data in its ERP. Not only that, but it addressed it is such a way that we had excellent user adoption. All of our users love having the ability to use Excel, and as Controller I loved the control Vena gave us in that Excel environment.
Pros
- Simple to implement and took little resource commitment on the customer side.
- Sales cycle was customer-friendly. Not a high-pressure pitch, but patient and understanding.
- Version-control and auditing is superb.
Cons
- Takes a minute to get used to the constructs of the report-building.
- Need to keep developing integrations. We had to load flat files as there was not a connection for our ERP.
- Faster report processing!
- Less confusion - everyone on the same page.
- Adaptive Insights and a Workday company
Clearly a better fit for our company from a culture perspective. Adaptive sales team was super pushy and not a good fit for us. Also, the system would have LET us work in Excel, but that was not its main interface.
