Overall Satisfaction with Vidyard

Vidyard is used to create short, impromptu videos for customers and internal stakeholders. The platform allows the organization to show a "face" to our business. It is used by account executives and implementation services.

Pros

  • The platform is very intuitive.
  • The metrics for video views are great.
  • The ability to generate a closed captioning file is a must.

Cons

  • The video editing tools are very limited.
  • This tool has aided in driving traffic to our web-pages.
Vidyard is great when you need to get a quick video message out the door in a short amount of time. It is not complicated and is very intuitive.
You could easily record a short video and have it posted online or embedded in an email in minutes.
The platform is very simple to navigate and recording is so easy. The only setback is the limitation of the video editing.
The platform quickly generates multiple sharing links for various applications, email, posts, and web content.
I have found Vidyard is not best suited for videos where you want to switch between a live demo and a prepared powerpoint presentation, due to its limited editing tools.
It is wonderful for delivering personalized videos to a wide variety of audiences.
