Overall Satisfaction with Turbonomic (formerly VMTurbo)
We use it to stabilize our host in vCenter so all of them are at the same percentage used.
- VMTurbo can tell us the location of issues in our environment.
- VMTurbo balances our host to the point that we only look at them once a week to see if an there is an issue with VMTurbo rather than the host.
- No matter what our users do when adding a new VM, VMTurbo is there to balance the workload for us on the hosts.
- Projecting our future of host is a most have for any company
- It would be nice if it was easier to remove a host from VMturbo that we would not want VMturbo to manage (licenses).
- VMturbo lets me sleep at night knowing if we have a host go down during the night. VMTurbo will disperse the work over the rest of the nodes without overloading any nodes.
We do not use this part of the product at this time
Solarwinds has some of the things that VOM has, and is a little bit more detailed. It has no actions, so that is its down fall.
