AuthPoint - The future for MSPs that deploy MFA

Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint
WatchGuard AuthPoint is being used as our MFA product that we resell to clients.
The biggest issue this product addresses is having a MFA product that is simple to manage multiple clients (tenants) with. It allows us to configure/troubleshoot client MFA issues without needing to text some random person in the company to get in.

Pros
- Multi-tenant Management
- Simplicity to deploy
Cons
- License procurement process could use some work for clients who are existing in the cloud portal. If you don't manually create the client in the cloud portal you are unable to assign licenses from Master provider account.
- Needs some work on allowing the ability to MFA certain users on certain products, but not all users. Most AuthPoint integrations currently only support an all-or-nothing scenario.
- Positive: Ease of use allows for time spent on MFA tickets to be reduced phenomenally
- Positive: Bulk license option allows us to sell to clients for an affordable price to our clients, increasing the likelihood of selling
We selected AuthPoint over DUO for the following reasons:
- Cost savings
- Ease of Deployment
- Manageability: The ability to manage multiple clients in one portal without requiring a role account/ random cell-phone in the office
- Strong Partnership with WatchGuard
The organization benefited from the product simplicity by the way it is deployed. Once we have the Authentication Software/ gateways setup, creating users and ad syncing is a breeze. It is also nice that we can manually sync the AD system, allowing us to quickly make user adds/ removals.
Our users have enjoyed being able to authenticate with just approving a push notification on their phone. Some of our companies even like the idea that AuthPoint makes it so that a password may not even be required.
We have not been able to test this product out too much in the field.
However, I could see this being a potential win for clients who want to MFA a handful of websites, and want to limit the amount of websites their users have to bookmark on their browsers
