Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint

We use AuthPoint throughout our entire organization from endpoints, notebooks and desktops, and to remote servers. We needed a solution to enable multi-factor authentication within our environment for identity management. WatchGuard was able to provide the complete solution from RDS servers to endpoints.

  • One Solution (Cloud Apps, EndPoints & Servers).
  • Ease of Use -- Cloud Management.

Cons

  • Inconsistent Push Notifications.
  • Affordable Licensing Model.
  • No ,ore sleepless nights worrying about potential password leaks.
We found that the value that WatchGuard brings compared to Duo was far superior. As of late 2019 Duo has had many reliablity issues, so WatchGuard again has been performing better here.
Yes, we have benefited from this cloud service model. Ease of use, central management, and visibility have all been wins for AuthPoint. Our internal operations team can set it and forget it.
When a device is offline, this is a must-have while traveling or with limited internet access.
Support with AuthPoint has been very responsive. However, the true test is that we haven't had to place that many support tickets to begin with. It just works!

A great solution whether it is for single use case or multiple, like Cloud App integration. This product really shines when you start to use it across multiple platforms. It's easy to use and maintain, and is fairly reliable.

    Hi Calvin, Thank you so much for your review and feedback. I just wanted to let you know, that to address inconsistencies with push-based notifications that may be triggered by delivery services, WatchGuard has recently implemented "Pull Authentication" within the mobile app. With this feature, users will be able to see pending Push requests when they open the AuthPoint app and pull them from the Cloud, eliminating Push delay issues.
