Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard AuthPoint

We use WatchGuard AuthPoint for multi factor authentication for our Watchguard VPN connections. This provides protection from outside malicious actors trying to access our network.

Pros

Cons

  • Some times the authentications does not go through
  • Reinstalls of the WatchGuard AuthPoint VPN client to make the connection work on occasion.
  • It helped secure our network with MFA VPN connections
It protects the company from leaked passwords from external malicious actors.

It is required by insurance companies to have MFA. It has helped enforce MFA and allows us to purchase insurance.
It helps us check it there has been a leak.
Fortinet is free for MFA connections as WatchGuard AuthPoint is not.
