Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security

Basic firewall.
  • Port security.
  • External IP addresses.
  • I would like to be able to change ports with a firewall rule on the fire.
  • Positive: It's very [easy] to work with. And pricing is not too bad. Tech support is good too!
  • Negative: Lot of techs have no experience with WatchGuard.
Yes, I work directly with WatchGuard for recommendations.
The interface is really good compared to other firewall interfaces.
The single license model is good. It's very easy to renew. I mean super easy!!
  • Cisco 1000 Series Aggregation Services Routers (ASR 1000)
Cisco has a GREAT CLI. And Cisco has a better knowledge base than WatchGuard, but I still like my WatchGuard.
I like the way I can block websites. Especially Facebook, Amazon, Twitter, shopping sites, porn and other social sites. I really allows us to increase worker productions. But yet, I can still allow certain sites into the organization. It's really easy to these types of tasks. WatchGuard is really cool. It has a nice user interface.

WatchGuard has great GUI. And it is easy to learn, or better put, guess!! lol
