Enterprise Level Security
Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security
We have been using Watchguard Network Security products for over 15 years. The ease of installation, configuration and troubleshooting has always been the biggest selling point with us. The platform offers the granularity of management features normally found with a CLI native interphase built into a GUI management stack. The security features are on par with all of the big-name firewall providers but normally at a fraction of the cost. Support is only a phone call away when issues arise and their channel support has been top-notch.

The simplified licensing model WatchGuard Network Security has made it [easier] to purchase since it does not seem like we are being nickeled and dimed out of important features. This also allows us to know that we have the full protection of the platform right off the bat [and makes it] easy to communicate renewals for licenses.

WatchGuard's Network Security firewalls offer comparable security and processing capabilities at a cost-effective price point. When comparing the packet handling on DPI, VPN, and simple packet filtering, Watchguard will usually test above the other competitors; especially when looking at the models that are in the same class. Navigating between alias's services and ACL's is much easier than [with] some of the other competitors.
