Overall Satisfaction with Webex App

I use Webex in the daily basics for communication to peers on the chat, to schedule meetings, and to attach documents. The app is centralized so you can set meetings, chat with peers, discuss under specific topics, and “start a thread”. You can attach documents as any other application. The app is very secured as well. You can open up several groups and discuss the projects specifics and lock who can add or not users to that channel. Additionally, there is a possibility to talk to people outside the organization(partners, external subsidiaries, other companies, cisco as well) and have them all in one group which brings a lot of value.
  • Set up webex meetings with customers and internal meetings.
  • Webex teams chat is a very powerful tool to chat with internal peers.
  • You can upload files securely.
  • You can set up group chats with internal users, and external users.
  • You can have admins adding users to group chats only.
  • Emojis-- this part is very restricted.
  • Gifts you can post on other apps; On webex teams is not the same.
  • Set status is very limited to what you can set.
  • We can have external group chats with different organizations for specific projects that engage them, this has lowered the time we have to spend in actual calls since we can communicate everything over that channel.
  • We can schedule meetings.
  • From an external app, the same app we use for chat, I can call someone or schedule a WebEx meeting.
  • I can set up advanced security to lock certain groups to only those specific participants and not allow any additional people to join.
Since Webex app is a centralized app, it has made things easier for everyone. You can send files, start conversation within a chat, so that many variables make it richer.
The support is acceptable from Cisco or the actual partners that support this product. When there are new versions sometimes it has been beneficial with security add-ins, while other times, we have had issues trying to even get logged in. As any other app, these issues happen with Webex app, and the support has been good enough.

Usability is pretty good. It uses single sign on and it’s an always-on type of app, meaning it is signed in when you power the computer and start the session. It takes a couple of seconds to open and load completely. After that it has tabs for every single thing you want to do. You can open a Webex meeting right away or talk to someone.
Where a centralized application is needed, Webex app has it all (chats, voice calls, group chats, Webex meetings), this is a very good application for a company that needs the ability to move fast and with agility when talking to someone and setting meetings at the same time. I think the application has a very strong sense of agility for all those aspects. One thing to take into account is if you have partners and you need a way to communicate with them over a chat app.

Using Webex App

100 - Engagement with partners and customers. They talk to every partner and they are engage to answer questions, take requests and make sure they are fulfilled properly. We discuss projects for existing or new builds depending on what the design is and the requirement for the project. We tipycally discuss every needed requirement there and share documents as well.
