Overall Satisfaction with Webex Calling

Webex Calling was initially used on a test case basis to understand how it would stack up against a competitor. I've been using both these apps for some time and feel Webex calling is a little late to the party. It's not been pushed across the entire organization yet but is being used by a good number of people. It integrates a lot of essential tools together and packages them into one app. Cisco has a done a good job in terms of quality and features that they've packed together in this app.
  • Adding people and managing teams is easy.
  • Integrates well with a lot apps.
  • Good audio and video quality.
  • Setting this up for the first time is time consuming.
  • Does not work well with some internet service providers in India.
  • Very limited troubleshooting options for administrators.
  • It may be cheap initially but lacks features. You get what you pay for.
Webex calling integrates well with Cisco Webex, MS Outlook and Google Drive.
MS Teams has had a launch way ahead of Webex calling and have penetrated market a lot. Webex Calling is playing catch up with MS teams, but in terms of operability Webex Calling is more stable and I feel in terms of quality too is bit ahead or other players in market.

When you compare it with one of the competitors the app does not hang a lot, video and voice call quality is definitely better than this major competitor. Audio is clearer, crisper and sounds louder. Works wonderfully well on both phone and laptop. I've had issues in getting it to work with some internet provider, rest of the apps were working well but for some reason, Webex calling wasn't. But worked well when I switched my service provider, may be teething issues with some service providers.
