Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Webex Teams is a primary tool for collaboration in our org. We also have MS Teams, which is mostly used for productivity and reporting.
Webex Teams helps me with daily engagement with my colleagues and partners wherever I am located. It helps our Team to collaborate and run the team on a daily basis.

Pros and Cons

Teaming and spacing features are amazing, we are basically running the whole team over this tool - daily standouts, sharing ideas and content.
Build in messaging and meeting capabilities.
Access form anywhere without VPN.

App hub is little bit poor for integrations and applications in comparison to MS Teams.
Confusion in multiple tools, Jabber, Meeting, Teams.
App hang my PC when joined a large video conference with all video enabled.

Return on Investment

Teams productivity has been increased.
New level of video conferencing, no more meeting room booking , all is in one tool.
Company saves a lot of money on business travel.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Teams

The messaging interface of Webex is way better and more user friendly than Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Webex provides a lot of unique features such as PSTN calling, calendar integration, proximity sharing, Free SIP calling.

Support Rating

We don't have to bother our IT department because the application is quite stable and well maintained. We received regular software updates from Cisco cloud.

Usability

Webex has been the best collaboration tool that was adopted across our organisation. Before I used to struggle by using one application for meeting, another for calling, and the third one for messaging. Now, with all-in-one tool - Webex, I can do everything easily and my work is efficient.

Likelihood to Recommend

Webex Teams is well suited for team project based work. Basically it has replaced the email client recently, no more emails just messaging with content and video conferencing! It would be less appropriate if it goes to the consumer market, since there are other tools in there such as WhatsApp. However, if Webex replaces it one day, that would be great!
