Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

Webex is used across the organization and it is pretty cool. I find it more reliable compared to other meeting tools. Also, the URL is very generic and we can easily connect audio in various ways. The screen sharing very good and it helps us quickly talk to people remotely.
  • The screen sharing feature is the best I have experienced so far.
  • The audio connectivity is very good.
  • The quality of the call on Webex is just awesome.
  • Sometimes the audio on the computer can get unstable.
  • Setting up meetings has been very easy.
  • We no longer book rooms for meetings.
  • We can all remotely attend meetings and see each other while sharing content.
I think Webex is by far the best meetings tool. However, Microsoft is catching up fast. Zoom meetings are fine; it is not as good as Teams.
I didn't have to reach out to the Webex Support team. It does high availability though. We did get some hiccups, but they were resolved within hours. Otherwise, Webex works just fine most of the time. It could be that they do preventive maintenance all the time and ensure availability for the employees and users.

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

We can do what we need over a web-conferencing call. We can dial in from any kind of device: computer, mobile, or tablet. When computer audio is not functional, I can join over a phone. I can join a meeting up to 15 mins prior to the start of the meeting.
It is well suited for intra-company and inter-company communication involving audio, video and screen share. It is easy to share and we can set up privacy for a meeting. Though there are other similar products in the market, Webex has high quality and reliable service. Even the application is very light and easily accessible.

Cisco Webex Experience

Cisco was probably one of the first web conferencing tools which got meetings right. It was so convenient to use it and you could meeting people outside your organization who also use webex. The whileboard feature and screenshare are great. We never had any issues with our meetings. It has what we need for effective communication.
We have not combined with any other feature of Webex. However, we did have cisco headsets and IP phones.
Hosting the meeting is pretty easy and managing is simple. Also, when the host is not ready, the invitees can join the meeting up to 15 mins ahead of the time. This is especially useful when we have back to back meetings and don't have to wait for hosts to come join us and open the meeting. It's like walking into a meeting room.

None. But, I had to reach them only once to find out how I can make my participants join the meeting even when the host is not on time. It was a feature that is out of the box. Anybody can join the meeting up to 15 mins ahead of the actual meeting start time.

Yes - It's good for meetings where no screen is shared and for quick meetings. However, I prefer to use my computer to really see what's going on on the shared presentations. But, I do have the flexibility to join meetings over phone when I have to go off my desk or to run quick errands on informational meetings where I don't need to view any presentation.
