Stay productive and connected with Webex
Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings
Webex Meetings is used to conduct meetings with clients, employees, and partners not located in our immediate area. It makes it easy to communicate across the company and with current and potential business clients. Everyone at the company uses it from time to time, but the main user is our CEO for his business meetings.
Pros
- Easy to use by just clicking the invite link and getting connected.
- Who is online and who has joined the meeting are visible.
- Webex Meetings can call you, rather than using your phone number to call out.
- It is great for international users.
Cons
- I would like to see where you can hide attendees if you want to do a webinar with it.
- Pricing option for Small Businesses.
- It reduces traveling cost for the business since you don't have to see the other person every time for a meeting. It reduces travel time since you don't have to drive 1 hour to see someone for a 15-minute meeting. That time can be used for other business items.
- It boosts efficiency as everyone will be on the same page through seeing and hearing what should be done.
- It helps recalling important items as there are recordings of the meeting, so you can go back and check.
It most cases it is the price that makes a difference, especially for a small business. Both services have great features but looking at the budget we went with Webex Meetings. It fits our current needs. It has what we use at a good price. While GoToMeeting is great for Webinars, we don't conduct those at the current time. Webex Meetings helps us best to stay connected.
Webex Meetings Feature Ratings
Cisco Webex Experience
Transcription is a very good feature to have in Webex. That saves time when taking meeting minutes and helps people review what was said in a text rather than reviewing the video again. Note-taking is also a great feature, so the notes will be available to all in the same place as the video rather than having a separate document
Not Applicable to me
Webex has a multi-layer architecture that helps protect our data. They also follow best practices for security. We care most about our data as many meetings contain sensitive data. Encryption plays a large role in that. With Access control, we can manage who can see and do what inside of Webex.
Using Cisco Webex Meetings
10 - Webex is a place to meet with clients to discuss projects. So most of the people using Webex in our organization are project managers, technical consultants, and developers. They will discuss and show progress, analyze processes, and review documentations
we don't have that
- Webinars
- Client meetings
- improved teamwork
- as a Learning platform to deliver online courses
Evaluating Webex Meetings and Competitors
- Price
- Product Features
- Product Usability
- Prior Experience with the Product
For a small business, price is likely the most important factor due to budget constraints. Many conferencing tools provide good features and sometimes you won't use all of them but pricing is always a factor in purchasing.
