Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings
Webex Meetings is not the primary tool of choice at the organization I work for currently. However, the design team uses it to meet with external participants, In my previous organizations, Webex Meetings was the go-to tool for user research sessions and meetings with both internal and external stakeholders. Webex Meetings is fairly easy to use and has all the features that you would expect.
- Whiteboarding
- Break-out sessions
- Host-Attendee permissions allowing for better moderation
- Transcripts, though not very accurate, are useful
- Call quality issues - we have faced this on different network setups and have always wished it would go away
- Pricing?
- Support to join via browser without any installation - useful for research and external participants
- Too expensive compared to other tools offering similar features
- Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Hangouts Meet
- to be honest, we recently switched to MS Teams owing to the price point and ease of onboarding.
