Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

We use Webexpenses to track and claim both cash and corporate credit card expenditure, from our global workforce, against more than a dozen projects with many categories of spend.

Pros

  • Easily lets you group costs into one claim item
  • Streamlines capture of receipts from phone to the app to the web
  • Captures corporate card spend all in one place, making it easier to compile monthly claims
  • Identifies uploaded receipts and recommends matches for your claims, saving time for all staff

Cons

  • It would be useful to have improved functionality to group and/or move items between claims
  • Adding new items onto existing claims could be easier, particularly items which have already been capture elsewhere (e.g. combining items from two claims into one claim)
  • Allowing reviewers to add comments against specific items rather than rejecting and commenting on an entire claim
  • Support accurate expense accounting across many different projects and spend categories to enable more efficient assessments of how budgets are being spent
It's pretty intuitive, however there are some aspects that could be improved.

Yes

Very well suited for travel, though can be cumbersome for claiming staff benefit expenses where you need to manually input the name and title of all staff members in attendance.
