Overall Satisfaction with Workplace by Facebook

It is being used as a social and collaboration tool across the organization, with professionals sharing moments from their work life.

Pros

  • Familiar user experience.
  • Same features as Facebook.
  • Focus on groups and communities.

Cons

  • Integration with other enterprise backend tools is lacking.
  • Workplace has helped in showcasing some of the moments that can't be captured on IM or on email.
  • It has enhanced collaboration across the US and India offices.
  • It has increased the visibility of work and activities across geographies.
Facebook is a familiar product, and Yammer wasn't able to match up in the potential uses, such as live video and showcasing albums, etc.
They are responsive in addressing questions, but the SLA can be much faster.
