Overall Satisfaction with WP Engine

WP Engine was used to host our WooCommerce website but costs got extremely expensive and we had no visibility because WP Engine was managed hosting.

Pros

  • Managed hosting
  • Wordpress backup reminders

Cons

  • Costs
  • Access to backend
  • Moved away from WP Engine due to cost for ecommerce
  • Fine for small websites
Generally easy to use, backup reminders are nice

WP Engine is extremely expensive and you don’t have full access. So if you want to not deal with it fine but our developers prefer full server access.
