Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

It's used as a task tracker. Everything, including sprints, task evaluation, statuses, descriptions, etc., is managed in Wrike. We utilize dashboards, priorities, and task hierarchies for effective task management. We have one primary task and a set of subtasks, each with a designated person responsible for it. We evaluate the task and check the number of closed functions at the end of the sprint.

Pros

  • Notifications. If there's an update on the task, you will receive a notification immediately and an email 15 minutes later.
  • Speed. Wrike is pretty fast, faster than Jira in my opinion.
  • No overcomplication. Wrike has fewer features than Jira, but it makes me understand and feel it better.

Cons

  • Technical stability. Sometimes it just doesn't load well.
  • Task chaining. It's not that easy to create an epic, task, subtask, and department subtask hierarchy.
  • Lack of automation. It's impossible, for example, to change a horizontal subtask automatically.
  • Task statuses. They save a lot of time, which I don't need to communicate to other team members.
  • Task descriptions. You can basically put all the necessary information in there.
  • Notifications. If you wait for someone, you don't need to check their status all the time; you can subscribe to the task and receive all the updates right away.
I haven't used any of those. As I mentioned earlier, automation is limited; for example, you can update the parent task status when updating the child task. I'm not sure if you can use AI in Wrike. Perhaps it allows you to write some boilerplate for the task description, but since I haven't used it, I'm not sure.
Wrike is pretty usable. I like to use its dashboards; they let me see what my teammates are currently doing, their current statuses, and what they will be working on later. I also like that it's usually fast and smooth, at least it feels less slow and heavy than Jira does.
I haven't used any.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

No

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Wrike again?

No

The best use cases are small projects and small teams. As I mentioned, Wrike lacks automation, yet it's clear in its usage at the same time. If there's a small project or small team, doing things manually is not a big deal, and building a framework out of a task tracker is not necessary; Wrike suits pretty well.
