Wrike the colloboration tool that enriches our team.
Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
we use Wrike for to manage all IT and engineering projects for our company. It helps us by allowing us to see all projects in one location and see which resources are over allocated as well as timing for each task.
Pros
- providing a complete outlook for all projects and all resources in one location
- multiple reports and styles. pick and choose what works for your team. not canned reports.
- communication. keeping all parties informed when things change or need attention.
Cons
- baseline creation. this feature is only available in gantt chart and no other view. also it can only be added by doing a snapshot.
- editing some of the report formats.
- Wrike has helped us understand the number of hours we are committing to each project and once completed reviewing how well we did when it came to estimating the amount of time needed.
we are using the automation feature but sometimes it doesn't work as expected. I believe this will come with time and more understanding of its capabilities and limitations. AI is something we haven't embraced yet.
For us Wrike was the best choice outside of mircosoft project. unfortunately our company policy does not permit office 365 so our licenses of project were individual licenses which limited the ability to see all projects and the allocation of resources in one location. If our company policy was different we would not have looked at another project management software. We have discovered there has been some great things about Wrike, like the vast amounts of reports that can be created, and the integration with outlook helps. overall Wrike was the next best choice for us.
