Overall Satisfaction

  • The Salesforce.com integration is really impressive. Xactly is a native force.com application listed on the appexchange integrates flawlessly with our Salesforce.com records. We import over 1,000 records into Xactly every day through an automated process that imports, calculates and posts results to each sales rep's dashboard feed.
  • The support and implementation team is a great asset. The original implementation team dedicated a single support rep to my case so he had a solid understanding of how we wanted to use Xactly. The support has been very helpful also, there have been a couple times when payroll is due and I need immediate assistance from support and they always come through for me on time.
  • Moving to an automated product has freed up a lot of time that was wasted manually calculating payments through excel. It has also allowed us to improve our comp plan and add in layers of complexity that were not possible or practical to calculate in Excel.
  • Importing 1,000 transactions a day we have run into some data storage issues with Salesforce.com. Xactly's automated process of importing, calculating, and posting results also makes a copy of the transaction data into their Xactly tables within Salesforce.com. We are looking at 1,000 records turning into 3x that once Xactly has done the calculations. We have had to purchase additional storage from Salesforce.com to accommodate this. I believe our use case is a little extreme compared to most Xactly and Salesforce.com users, so the data limits should not be an issue, but something to think about.
  • The results are not quite measurable other than the time we saved by automating the process.
  • The biggest benefit is the visibility the reps now have into their % attainment for the payout period. They get a daily email dashboard from Salesforce.com that has updated Xactly commission data every morning alerting them of their status. With the Salesforce.com reports and dashboard functionality our reps don't even have to log in to see their status, the information is pushed to them via email.
We couldn't be happier with Xactly. They are constantly trying to improve the product and looking for feedback from customers. Our sales reps love the increased visibility to their commission payout status.
