Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

We use Xactly Incent for sales compensation within our sales organization. We currently have approximately 400 sales reps. We are in the process of rolling out and are currently working on UAT. So far the system is live for business development representatives (or BDRs) but not for the rest of the reps. Once UAT is complete, we will roll out for the entire sales organization. The problem it addresses is all our manual Excel files within the sales compensation team. We are so excited to automate a lot of these tedious, manual processes.
  • Detailed calculations with pay curves
  • Detailed hierarchy breakdown
  • Excellent customer support within product
  • Processing times can be a bit slow.
  • Too many buttons result in a ton of clicking around.
  • UI/UX leaves something to be desired, it's not very intuitive.
  • Streamline the documents process
  • More transparency for the reps
  • Saves time on compensation processing
I haven't used products similar to Xactly Incent.

Xactly is great if you have a simpler compensation plan. Unfortunately, our plans are quite nuanced, with many components and many one-offs. We are trying to consolidate our plans and components, but in this case, it is difficult. The system doesn't handle exceptions well, especially those in prior periods or years.
