Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

Xactly Incent allows us to accurately & timely pay our team in an environment where each paycheck is derived from up to thousands of individual orders. Additionally, the ranking reports are a great motivator and viewed everyday by our team.
  • Rule-based commission calculation
  • Flexible system that enables on the fly spiffs and temporary programs without significant admin overhead required
  • Xactly was difficult to learn from an admin perspective, there's lots of content within the support community but it can be difficult to find the content you need.
  • The analytics platform needs work; however, they are actively doing just that with a beta on the way.
  • Payment accuracy
  • Close to real time feedback on rep performance via incentive statements
  • Empowered creative sales programs & spiffs
Direct correlation between payments & performance to ensure we are driving the right behaviors with our incentive payments and that they are tied to our strategic goals.
We only use Incent.
Salesforce & SQL server
HR uses the document management platform for sales plans. Finance receives insight on commission accruals from Incent.

Xactly Incent is great for organizations that like to experiment and try comp models. I'd avoid Xactly Incent if you have less than 20 commission recipients or if you have dynamic data sources that you'd like to plug in. Updating your data feed costs money and time, this is not the case in more modern platforms.
