Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

Sailpoint uses Xactly for all sales commissions processing for the entire Sales department (600+ employees). Xactly calculates quota credits and commissions for each employee. Employees view their quota attainment within Xactly.

  • Great customer service to help us ensure we are always using best practices when it comes to setting up and calculating sales commissions.
  • Ability to easily integrate with other software.
  • Reporting could use some improvement.
  • New employee setup can be tedious. Have to go to numerous tabs within the software to finish entering a new hire.
  • Big learning curve. Took me 6+ months to feel somewhat comfortable with software after going through the admin certification course. The layout of the software isn't very intuitive.
  • Helped us scale the Sales team to over 600 employees and accurately calculate commissions.
  • Set us up to be able to scale the company more. The software has the functionality to allow us to streamline processes.
  • Allows employees to easily view and analyze their quota attainment.
We integrate with Workday which helps streamline employee setup as new hires come in.
We send Finance and Sales Ops lots of reports that are originated in Xactly.
Xactly is well suited for any company with a compensation plan that can vary drastically from year to year. Our commission plan changed quite a bit from the previous year but we were able to effectively set up Xactly to handle our complex compensation plan. If a company has reliable reports to use for commissions calculations, the process could easily be streamlined as Xactly integrates with other software.
